Lucky Charm

For centuries, people across the world have carried small objects believed to bring good fortune. From ancient protective talismans to everyday items discovered by chance, lucky charms have appeared in countless cultures and traditions, each carrying its own story and meaning.

With this spirit in mind, we created the Lucky Charm — a pen devoted to the rich traditions surrounding some of history’s most beloved symbols of luck, including the four-leaf clover, horseshoe, bamboo, runic talisman, lucky penny, dice, Hamsa hand, evil eye amulet, wishbone, acorn and key.

Each symbol is delicately engraved into the glossy black surface of the pen and carefully hand-filled with a copper-toned pigment featuring a refined metallic shimmer. The design is then sealed beneath a transparent protective top coat to preserve the beauty of the finish and ensure lasting durability. We’re especially excited about this technique, as it represents a new design direction for BENU and introduces a decorative treatment we are using for the very first time.

All BENU Talisman pens include a fragment of the natural material behind their inspiration. The Lucky Charm takes a different approach — bringing together tiny particles of all the substances used in previous Talisman designs! While this is a creative gesture of storytelling rather than a claim of mystical power, we believe that when an object carries a story that resonates with its owner, it can bring a small sense of comfort, joy, and inspiration. With that thought in mind, we hope the Lucky Charm pen becomes a small symbol of good fortune for those who hold it!

This fountain pen comes with a standard international converter and one long blue ink cartridge. You can also convert it to eyedropper fill.
